Ibberson 38/ORA Heavy Duty Action Knife

Wanted a knife for rigging and ropework.

Need to be able to carry it all the time - no use if don't have it when need it...

So

• light
• non-threatening appearance - short blade, etc
• straight blade for cutting rope
• blade is thin and sharp
• handle is easy to grip for hard work
• replaceable - will frequently go missing - want a source of good knifes

Light meant don't want marlinspike, etc - would be carrying it all the time, too rarely need it and with knife can improvise a spike from wood, etc.
So just a knife with with a single blade - nothing else.

Found this knife made in Sheffield, UK. Promising so far...

The chunky easy-to-grip polymer handle - from ABS, which is rated as high-performing - is very light and practical. Just about all weight seems to be the blade - which is no bigger than it needs to be
