At King Edward Mine, before/behind and at top level of the California stamps - the jaw crusher processing the ore which on entering the mill does not fall directly through the fine grizzly.
This is a "blake type" double-toggle jaw crusher.
The identity given by the raised cast-in lettering on the body of the crusher is
Fraser & Chalmers Ltd Erith England No 36
My feet in 3rd image give some idea of scale.
The pulley with the belt over it in the 4th picture is 600mm /
24inches diameter.
