Simple linear elements in beam loading

These FEA simulations are early-stage practice of using linear elements.

Simple beam loading - simple arithmetic solutions available

These most fundamental simple cases simulated have simple arithmetic "on-paper" solutions.
Forces and/or stresses, plus displacements, closely agree with the arithmetically calculated values.

A square-sectioned beam is followed by a "I"-beam closely matching commercially available I-beam sections.

Two line elements meet in one structure

In this simulation, the default case is seen to be a rigid joint (not a "pin-joint" !) - as moments are transferred to the section intersected
